ABOUT THE SHOW

Rock guitarist Stevie Salas hosts ARBOR LIVE, a high energy and fast paced music variety TV show featuring emerging Aboriginal artists alongside today's global super stars. Join Stevie, comedic director "Steelbird" and his "assistant" real life movie star Eric Schweig as they present these incredible live performances, in-depth artist interviews and hilarious comedic back stage antics with featured artists.

EPISODE 01: CANTALOUPE SCIENCE

The premiere episode of ARBOR LIVE features a live performance by a true hard rock super group - Velvet Revolver. Band members Slash, Matt Sorum and Duff were in the legendary line-up of Guns N' Roses and then singer Scott Weiland was (and is now back) with Stone Temple Pilots.

This week's behind the scene backstory finds Stevie Salas needing to convince Matt Sorum into flying from his home in LA to Winnipeg, Canada to appear on the show. Matt is reluctant, due to the fact that he is on the Hollywood Cantaloupe Diet. He's heard that cantaloupe is hard to find in 20 below zero Winnipeg. Steelbird organizes for the fruit to be Fed Ex'ed to Winnipeg but Eric eats it all. A quick-thinking Steelbird saves the show!!!

The debut episode also has the hard native blues rock of George Leach and Canada's own poetic songstress, author and hip hop queen Kinnie Starr. playing live with the Arbor Live house band including Stevie on guitar.

EPISODE 02: CHICKEN ERIC DANCES FOR ENDORSEMENT

Features the world touring screamo punk sensation Comeback Kid, who are forced to deal with a giant chicken during their interview shoot?? It seems Eric has struck an endorsement deal behind the back of the Arbor Live crew so he can eat chicken fingers on the set for free. Also appearing is legendary folk star Claude McKenzie of Kashtin fame and the badass blues guitar playing of Canadian axe man Billy Joe Green..

EPISODE 03: I'M NOT ALICE!!

Features the techno traditional drum driven beats of Brule and their band leader Paul LaRoche who Steelbird thinks is Alice Cooper and it's driving him nuts in the process. Plus performances by the classically gritty, but distinctly Aboriginal, hip hop of Team Rezofficial,, the power chord chocolate rockin' of Jesus Murphy and the soulful funk sensation Jace Martin..

EPISODE 04: IS THIS GUY WITH YOU??

Features the infamous multi-platinum rockabilly trio The The Stray Cats and their drummer Slim Jim Phantom who thinks Steelbird is an idiot. Also playing live on the show are Inward Eye, three brothers that bring a Mod rock n' roll sound reminiscent of classic bands like The Who and The Jam and the award winner singer-songwriter Leela Gilday. with the Arbor Live house band.

EPISODE 05: HAPPY ENDINGS

Features the award winning Aboriginal infused rock of Eagle and Hawk, who become upset when their backstage dressing room needs are not met. Leave it to Steelbird and Eric to save the day once again to make the Eagle And Hawk boys happy. This show also includes the high octane power chord rock of Floor Thirteen and our rock guitar host himself, Stevie Salas.

EPISODE 06: SWEET CHEEKS

This episode showcases the intense heavy rock outfit Domenica and their controversial female lead singer Bekki Friesen who man-handles Eric and Steelbird. Also performing is the folk country rock of JC Campbell and one of the most acclaimed Native American recording artists of our time Joanne Shenandoah.

EPISODE 07: FREESTYLE MADNESS

Wab Kinew, a classic native rapper with a powerful message, decides to lay down some new freestyle on the Arbor Live crew - driving Eric nuts!! Also nu-metal heavy rocking by Dreadnaut plus the powerful and intense Grammy Award winner Bill Miller.

EPISODE 08: I'M YOUR HUCKLEBERRY

Eric tries to pick up the hard rock chart toppers Buckcherry, at the train station for their appearance on Arbor Live but ends up with a northern trapper? Also singer-songwriter Angus Jourdain and the blues inflected rock of multi-Juno Award winner Derek Miller.

Episode 09: CRACK KILLS

Nikki Sixx's post-Motley Crue DJ-infused hard rock side project Sixx:AM, performs songs from the sountrack to his new book The Heroin Diaries. The beautiful country pop of the Juno-nominated Tracy Bone, and the rock blues massacre of Texas Meltdown complete this week's lineup.

Episode 10: GRAMMA WANTS A 3D SASQUATCH

Eric tests Stevie's friendship when he makes him steal Tommy Lee's underwear from the dressing room of the world famous rock group Motley Crue. Vancouver's Juno Award wining singer-songwriter Sandy Scofield shows Stevie the proper way to eat whale blubber and Western Canada's prodigal hip-hop son, urban-rapper Joey Stylez, throws down some rhymes.

Episode 11: STEELBIRD WANTS A ZESTY NEW LOOK

The hard hitting, hard rock crunch of Papa Roach are the featured guest on this week's episode. Meanwhile Steelbird tries his hand as a Stylist by "cleaning up" the image of the classic pogo punk group The Johnny's. Plus the folk urban-infused laid back acoustic jams of Atlantic Records newest priorityKo Kapches, the southern Americana sounds of Jaccques and the Shakey Boys, and the laid back hip hop vibes of CanadaÕs Plex.

EPISODE 12: TINKLE TINKLE

Stevie Salas is given a rare glimpse into the world of Joe Satriani, on a rare tour of the guitar virtuoso's gear. Eric Schweig attempts to gross out Nashville's newest sensation, Aboriginal songstress Crystal Shawanda, during her interview with Stevie. Vancouver's down and dirty Juno-nominated Indian-Cowboy Wayne Lavallee also performs.

Episode 13: BEST OF ARBOR LIVE SEASON FINALE

Our ARBOR LIVE compilation episode and season finale features the best performances from the series' first 12 weeks including Motley Crue, Joe Satriani and Comeback Kid. Also look for never before aired performances and outtakes you won't want to miss.
